Borneo Fragrant Brown Rice is the ‘unrefined’ version of the Borneo Fragrant White Rice from the Siburan, Padawan, Bau and Lundu districts in Sarawak . It is a whole-grain rice with only the outer hull removed, leaving most of the rice kernel's nutritional values intact. The rice is relatively low in calories, high in fiber, gluten-free and rich in minerals such as manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. Of those harvested, dedicated team from Antares Enterprise and Sarawak Specials selected the premium quality rice stocks. The rice is aromatic with a mild nutty taste and slightly sticky, chewy texture when cooked.

⚪White Rice VS Coloured Rice?🌾⚫🔴💜
Rice grain consists of 3 main parts: the bran (protective layer), the germ (heart of grain) and the endosperm (body of grain).

Production of white rice removes much of the bran and germ of the grain leaving the endosperm. The bran and germ contain much of the grains’ mineral, vitamin, protein and phytochemicals (eg. antioxidants). Hence, white rice only contains higher proportion of carbohydrate and limited amount of other essential nutrients per grain.

Our coloured rice (whole grain) retained much of their nutrients as the bran and germ part of the grain remained intact after the processing process. Hence, coloured rice has a better balance between calorie content and other essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, proteins, etc.

Dent and out of shape rice packs are an unavoidable, unfortunate incident that we could not avoid. Like shipping eggs via parcel, some eggs are almost certainly going to break. So we have tried our very best to add bubble wraps in all orders and boxes in some bulky orders.
So, out of shape rice packs and dented is NON-REFUNDABLE/NON-RETURNABLE.
