Zero is NOT QUITE the control pad like QCK but is a MEDIUM speed pad with very good control. If you like smooth glide but want better control, Zero is your pad to try.

Hayate Otsu v2 is the new Hien without the abrasiveness. The surface is very premium (hence more expensive) and provide better stopping power than hien. Only slightly slower than hien. Come in 2 Color (Wine Red & Classic Black-seems to be rare color release these days)

Choose mid if you want consistency, soft if you want something in between Xsoft & Mid with option for more control when needed (by pressing down your mouse), or Xsoft if you like that playstyle. Xsoft will feel slower than soft, and even more so than mid in terms of glide in actual use, highly depending on how you use your mouse, your mousefeet & the weight you put on your mouse. Fingertip user tend to feel the same across all pad where as palm grip user may feel the most difference in terms of glide across different pad.
tldr: More weight = more friction = more control on softer artisan pad.

Disclaimer:
Soft / Xsoft Zero trap hair easily. Regular maintenance might be required (just pull it off with a clipper)


Blabbering on:
Artisan quality is the best out there, no question.

Artisan mousepad is combination of superior stitching, ultra grippy base and durable surface (Non coated).
Problem with some mousepad is they are coated, great for first few months and it gets worse afterward due to that coating being slowly scrapped off especially on the part you use your mouse mostly on.

Non-coated mousepad can last a long time and become the one mousepad you can main for years, and after breaking in it will consistently feel the same.
