Hillrom disposable protective caps guarantee a hygienic and accurate temperature measurement environment. Be sure to put on a new cap to cover the Braun ThermoScan thermometer sensor before each measurement. The disposable protective caps eliminate the need to clean or disinfect the sensor and prevent cross-contamination.

For best hygiene and accurate readings, the lens filter must be replaced after each use. It’s important that the lens filter on the temperature sensor is replaced every time a reading is taken.

By attaching a new protective cap before each use, it avoids the accumulation of dirt or earwax, thereby shielding the sensor window, which could lead to a breakthrough of the measurement result.
