Quick Overview
Guardian Infrared Forehead & Ear Thermometer has fast and accurate temperature measurements with multiple scan modes, including ear, forehead, object surface, and room temperature taking. The product is ISO 13485 certified. It has fever alarm, and "beep" sound to indicate start and end of measurements. Measurement can be displayed in Degree Celsius or Degree Fahrenheit, with LCD screen and backlight, automatically switch off function. Last 9 memories can be recalled.


Direction for Use
Keep the probe clean for accurate measurement. For ear temperature taking, remove the forehead cap, gently insert into ear and press "ear" button. After each mesurement, gently clean surface tip with alcohol swab and dry it after. For forehead temperature taking, attach the forehead cap, place device on the forehead centre and press "forehead" button. For object surface temperature taking, press any button to switch on. Remove forehead cap, press "ear" and "forehead" buttons together until "Food" mode is shown on screen. Place device within 1 cm from object surface and press "ear" button to measure foods, liquids or other object surface temperature. For room temperature taking, press any button to switch on. Screen will display time, date and room temperature.

Contra Indication Avoid measuring the ear temperature if the ear is inflamed or infected. Do not use the thermometer if the main body is damaged (i.e., the infrared sensor is broken). The continuous use of a damaged unit may cause injury, improper temperature measurement, or serious damage. Do not touch or blow the infrared sensor. Do not store the thermometer to temperature or humidity extremes. Failing to do so may cause inaccuracy.

Caution
Keep the thermometer out of the reach of children. The thermometer is not waterproof, avoid any liquid invasion, including alcohol and water. If thermometer will not be used on a regular basis, remove batteries to prevent possible damage due to chemical leakage. If battery does leak, remove carefully and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
