Please understand that stainless steel is a composite material composed of several metals, including iron.
Adding a coating to additional scissor designs is not possible (since they are too smooth and unable to cut effectively).
The conclusion is that STAINLESS STEEL CAN RUST as well (especially in kitchen or bathroom scissors).
Mummy can GOOGLE "Why does stainless steel rust" and will find the same answer.
So, always ensure that items are kept in a DRY condition (especially before putting them away).
