Bio-Oil is a specialist skincare product that helps improve the appearance of scars, stretch marks and uneven skin tone. Its unique formulation, which contains the breakthrough ingredient PurCellin Oil, is also highly effective for other skin conditions including ageing and dehydrated skin. Bio Oil Natural Formulation
They removed the known allergens (like benzyl salicylate and hydroxycitronellal), mineral oils, and synthetic ingredients from the original formula's base and amped up the concentration of plant-derived oils, specifically soybean and sunflower seed. The brothers also spiked the new, natural Bio-Oil's base with safflower seed oil, which isn't in the old-school one. Studies have found the latter oil, in particular, can improve the appearance of non-keloid scars by 14 percent in just eight weeks.

Expiry date:
Under reasonable storage conditions, Bio-Oil will not expire within 36 months from mfg date.

Scars
Helps reduce the appearance of both new and old scars, whether caused by surgery, accidents, burns or insect bites. It is also highly effective for helping to reduce the feeling of tightness where scars are on high mobility areas.

Stretch marks
Helps prevent the appearance of stretch marks during periods of rapid change in body size such as pregnancy, adolescence and sudden weight loss/gain. Helps reduce the appearance of existing stretch marks.

Uneven skin tone
Helps reduce the appearance of dark marks and blemishes and promotes even skin tone.

Ageing skin
Helps reduce the visible signs of ageing by promoting suppleness and elasticity.

Dehydrated skin
Provides intensive and sustained lubrication to dry, flaky skin.

Daily skincare
* Replenishes the skin's natural oils, stripped away by factors such as extreme weather, water with a high chemical content, frequent bathing, and the drying effects of central heating and air conditioning.

Directions
Apply Bio-Oil to the affected area twice daily, massaging gently until fully absorbed. Use for a minimum of 3 months for best results. During pregnancy, massage Bio-Oil into the abdomen, hips, breasts, lower back and upper thighs twice daily from the start of the second trimester.
