Bepanthen® First Aid is specially formulated to protect wounds and damaged skin from infection, as well as soothing pain and accelerating skin repair. It is suitable for treatment of

Superficial /minor wounds of any kind where there is a risk of infection, e.g increased redness from nappy rash, abrasions, small cuts, scratches, fissures, rhagades, mild burns, sores and ulcer
Infected skin irritations
Skin damage & external surgical wounds, in minor surgery

Bepanthen® First Aid works in a combination of 2 ways to counter the effects of minor wounds i.e:
Disinfection – When applied on minor wounds, chlorhexidine in Bepanthen® First Aid helps to disinfect the wound by destroying the bacteria membrane, hence killing the bacteria
Gentle healing – Contains Dexpanthenol (pro- vitamin B5) penetrates deeply into the skin, accelerates the natural healing process from within.

Bepanthen® First Aid also helps to soothes the pain thanks its cooling effect.It also can be used for later stages during the healing process to avoid further infections.
