A Paraffin Gauze Dressings is a type of dressing that can be directly placed over minor wounds and burns. It serves as the first layer of protection, and also soothes the injury.

Sterile soft paraffin base for low-adherent easy removal. Allows wound to drain freely into an absorbent secondary dressing. Non-medicated ideal to use with antiseptic or antibiotic. Suitable for minor burns, cuts and grazes.

Gauze paraffin dressings are widely used for both professional and consumer needs, in hospitals, clinics, senior living facilities, schools, and households.

Gauze dressing is composed from non-woven, low-adherence gauze dressing that has been imbued with paraffin wax. All paraffin dressings are sterile.

Gauze paraffin dressings are more suitable to treat minor cuts and lesions. If a wound is more severe, or is bleeding, a stronger, more robust bandage or multiple dressing would be required.
