The comfort-coated tablets are easy to swallow, and they are gentle on your stomach. So, you can trust Dulcolax® for safe, effective relief of constipation

Dulcolax comes as 5 milligram (mg) tablets. You should swallow tablets whole. Don't crush or chew them.
Dulcolax is also available as 10 mg suppositories to insert into your anus.

-Children 6 to 11 years old can take one Dulcolax tablet or ½ of a suppository a day as needed.
If your child is constipated all the time, see your pediatrician. Dulcolax should not be taken long-term by children or adults.
-Children 12 and older and adults can use one 10 mg suppository a day or take up to three Dulcolax tablets in a single, daily dose as needed.

Adults should take not more than 30 mg of Dulcolax tablets a day (no more than three 10 mg tablets or six 5 mg tablets).
