The active ingredient of Duphalac® is lactulose and work as prebiotic laxative. It makes the stool softer and easier to pass, by drawing water into the bowel. It is suitable for all ages with an effective bowel regulation effect. It also promotes healthy intestinal balance especially for those suffering from constipation condition.

- Adults

How to take Duphalac® solution:
Duphalac® can be taken as a single daily dose or divided into two doses. It comes with a handy measuring cup to help make sure you take the right amount. Try to take it at the same time every day for example during breakfast.

You can mix your dose with a glass of water.

Take Duphalac® once or twice a day. After a few days the starting dosage may be reduced to a maintenance dose based upon treatment response.

Aim to drink 6 to 8 glasses of fluid during the day whilst you’re taking Duphalac® to help ease your constipation.

Recommended daily dose:
Adult: 15-45 ml twice daily
Children 7-14 years: 15ml twice daily
Children 1-6 years: 5-10ml twice daily
Infants up to 1 year: Up to 5ml twice daily
