Quick Overview
Panadol Extra is formulated to give 37% extra pain relief. The tablet are recommended for the treatment of most painful and febrile conditions. For example, headache, including migraine, backache, toothache, rheumatic pain and dysmenorrhea, and the relief of the symtoms of colds, influenza and sore throat.


Direction for Use
1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours (Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours). Do not take any other product containing paracetamol.

-Caplets are oval shaped, as well as film-coated, making them easier to swallow and leaving no bitter aftertaste.

-Panadol Extra provides 37% stronger pain relief as compared to standard Paracetamol.

Ingredients
Paracetamol 500mg and Caffeine 65mg per tablet. Other ingredients: Maize starch, Pregelatinised starch, Povidone, Potassium sorbate, Talc, Stearic Acid, Croscarmellose sodium and Purified Water

Contra Indication
Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol, caffeine or any of the other ingredients in the product. Paracetamol-caffeine is not recommended for children under the age of 12 years.

Caution
Underlying liver disease increases the risk of paracetamol-related liver damage. Patient who have been diagosed with liver or kidney impairment must seek medical advise before taking this medication. Avoid other caffeine containing products. Too much caffeine may caused rapid heart rate, nervousness or sleeplessness. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you have high blood pressure, glaucoma, or overactive bladder syndrome.DO NOT take more than the recommended dose unless advised by your doctor. Use the smallest effective dose. Taking more than the maximum daily dose may cause severe or possibly fatal liver damage. DO NOT USE with other drugs containing paracetamol. Not recommended for children under 12 years. Please see doctor if your symtoms do not improve. Not recommended for use during pregnancy. Use during breast feeding should be avoided. Before taking this medicine, make sure you consult your doctor if you are taking warfin or similar medicines used to thin the blood. Keep out of reach of children.
