Blackmores Bio ACEPlus is a formula containing Vitamin A, C, E, B1, B5, B6, B12, folic acid, zinc, selenium and grape seed. Pollutants, sun, stress, poor diet, alcohol and some medications can cause our bodies to overproduce free radicals which can lead to cell damage.

Features

Antioxidants act as 'free-radical scavengers'. Free radicals are common in the body, arising through a variety of mechanisms. Some are generated in the body as part of normal energy-producing processes, some are generated by pollutants such as air pollution, and some are generated by lifestyle factors such as excess dietary fats, cigarette smoke, and alcohol ingestion. Many of these free radicals are dealt with by the body's own antioxidant defenses. Some free radicals, however, escape these defenses, and tend to accumulate. Research suggests that this accumulation of free radicals can result in cellular damage.

The nutrients vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc, selenium & grape seed have antioxidant properties that help to reduce the risk of cell damage attributed to free radicals. Vitamin B6 and folic acid enhance the antioxidant nutrients in this formula.

Dosage

Adults -Take 1 tablet a day with a meal.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine hydrochloride) 41.1mg

Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) 500 mg

Vitamin E (Natural Source) 100 IU

Zinc (from Zinc sulfate monohydrate) 15 mg

Folic acid 400 mcg

Selenium (from Sodium selenite) 50 mcg

Grape seed (Vitis vinifera) extract dry conc. 5 mg

Equiv. to dry seed 5 mg

Equv. to procyanidins 4.25 mg

No added yeast, gluten, wheat, milk derivatives, preservatives, artificial flavours or sweeteners.
