Pitching/folding
Classic dome structure: Fit the poles on the inner tent, then attach the flysheet over it.
Reverse the process to take it down.
In case of wind it is advisable to peg in the guy ropes included in the bag.

Mattress compatibility
We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or trekking mattress measuring 65 cm maximum.
We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 6 cm height in this tent due the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.

Ventilation
1 upper back ventilation. Make sure you position the side pegs so as to maintain a space between the flysheet and the ground all around the tent. Good air circulation between the bedroom compartment and the flysheet will limit condensation.

Waterproofing
All Quechua tents are validated in a laboratory (whole tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours), as well as in the field.
(2000mm PU-coated polyester fly sheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams sealed using thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester inner room under the flysheet means you aren't in contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Resistance to wind
We test all out tents in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side to the wind. A properly pitched tent with all guy ropes fitted around the tent must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).

Environmental benefit: why is my product grey?
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also generates sewage resulting from the dye baths. To reduce this impact on the environment, we only dye every other thread in the fabric (Bi-ton), and thus reduce our consumption and our impact on water pollution. So that's why your product is grey.
