Diatomaceous earth bath mats are an excellent product that quickly absorbs water droplets from your feet after a bath and dries them. Diatomaceous earth is a soil made from fossils and is excellent at absorbing and releasing moisture. This allows the surface to remain smooth at all times. This material is very absorbent and is often used in place of other materials such as coasters and desiccants

Diatomaceous earth is a fossil soil. Unlike fibers, diatomaceous earth breathes on its own through "pores" (holes) and the surface is always dry, which prevents the growth of fungi and mold and keeps mites at bay. Usually, bath mats are wet after bathing, and if they are not washed frequently, bacteria will grow on them.
