BLACKMORES® Vision Care + Energy contains patented ingredient - Lutemax2020™, in which the lutein has been broken down into smaller free unit for easy absorption. Clinically proven to increase macular pigment optical density by 3 times in 6 months*, hence improve visual performance. The optimal 5:1 ratio^ is effective to increase macular pigment density, and in turn protects the macular region.

Lutein and zeaxanthin are fat soluble carotenoids which cannot be synthesized by our body. Lutein and zeaxanthin can absorb strong light at wavelength 390-515 nm, that help to reduce the harms to our retina. The higher the macular density, the healthier our eyes.
