The Ionantha air plant is one of the more striking and sought after tillandsia varieties available. The have become so popular the past several years that all cultivators of tillandsias have focused great efforts in producing this variety of air plant. One of the most desirable aspects of the Ionantha air plant is that it is a very hearty plant, that will require minimal attention compared to some other varieties of air plants. The name “Spanish moss” actually originated as “Spanish beard”. Native American tribal people called it “itla-okla”, which meant “tree hair”. Some French thought that it resembled a conquistador’s long beard and began calling it “Barbe Espagnol”, or Spanish beard. While the Spaniards retaliated by referring to it as “Cabello Frances”, or French Hair, it never caught on. Their height can reach 6-8m long.

They do not need regular water, water it once per weeks, depands on environment and dyness of the plant.

They needs bright, indirect light.

They absorb exhaled carbon dioxide and convert it to breathable oxygen.

1. Shipment: There are no shipment arranged from Friday-Sunday, and one day before Public holiday to avoid plant stranded in logistic warehouse during weekend.
2. Product Selection for your purchase

Please note that plants are unique, there are no two plants that look alike. However, we will select the best, healthiest and most aesthetically-pleasing plant for every purchase. Plants shown in photos are for species-reference only and does not represent the actual plant stated otherwise in the product description.

It is normal when the color of the plants look fade and leaves fall during transit as they’d been keep in boxes for few days. Once items received, provide your plants with light, water, & good airflow and will recover to their beauty. It is advisable to repot after 7 days upon received, to prevent the plants damage.

3. Plant Damage/died plant/Pottery damage – Refund/return

Please understand that buying live plants online will be having a risk of receiving died or damaged plants.If you do not want to take risk of the shipping process, kindly walk in to our Nursery located in Nibong Tebal Penang.

The plants/pottery will be refunded based on following criteria:
a) Dead plant or root rotten upon received for shipping duration that less then 5 days. .
b) Provided photo prove of box condition upon received, photo of damage items/dead plants.
c) Damage plant due to shipping handling are not refundable.
d) Plant dead after transferring to new pots for shipping duration less then 5 days are not refundable.

4. For East Malaysia’s orders
