"Vitamin C is often associated with the treatment and prevention of the common cold. However, the benefits of Vitamin C reach far beyond that. It is a powerful antioxidant which prevents free radical damage to body tissues. Vitamin C is also a vital component needed for the production of proteins, collagen and elastin, which help strengthen arteries, bones, teeth and cartilages in the body.

Unlike most animals, humans cannot make their own Vitamin C. We have to depend on daily replenishment to fulfill our body's requirements as well as to combat stress and environmental pollution.

Nutriforte Non-Acidic Vitamin C is SUPERIOR to other Vitamin C. Unlike conventional Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid (acidic form), Nutriforte Non-Acidic Vitamin C containing calcium ascorbate (providing Vitamin C 1000mg) is specially formulated to produce a non-acidic (pH neutral) form of Vitamin C, making it gentle on the stomach. This offers an excellent alternative to those with sensitive stomachs and gastric problems.

Nutriforte Non-Acidic Vitamin C also contains natural bioflavonoids, which increase the effectiveness of Vitamin C by preventing it from being destroyed by oxidation in the body. These bioflavonoids also work synergistically to increase the absorption of Vitamin C in the body."
