MAALOX ORAL SACHET 20S:
» Contains Magnesium Hydroxide – non-systemic Antacid
» Contains Aluminium Hydroxide – non-systemic Antacid
» Individual sachet & convenient tear & take
» Lemon flavour

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Each Sachet contains:
Magnesium Hydroxide: 400mg
Aluminium Oxide: 230mg
In hydrated Aluminium Hydroxide form: 460mg
Excipients: Sucrose 3.15 g & Sorbitol

DOSAGE:
Gently knead the sachet before opening. Drink the suspension as is, do not dilute.
Above 15 years old - Adults: 1 or 2 sachets when episodes of pain occur without exceeding 12 sachets daily.
May be taken 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bedtime or as required.


MAALOX PLUS SIMETHICONE CHEWABLE TABLET 40S:
» Contains Magnesium Hydroxide – non-systemic Antacid
» Contains Aluminium Hydroxide – non-systemic Antacid
» Contains Simethicone
» Low in sodium, designed to be chewed
» Lemon swiss crème flavour

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Each Tablet contains:
Dried Aluminium Hydroxide gel: 200mg
Magnesium Hydroxide: 200mg
Simethicone: 26.25mg
(equivalent to Dimethicone 25mg)

DOSAGE:
2-4 tablets well chewed, four times a day, taken twenty minutes to one hour after meals and at bed time, or as directed by a physician.
» Do not take more than 16 tablets in a 24-hour period


MAALOX PLUS SIMETHICONE SUSPENSION 250ML:
» Lemon swiss creme flavoured
» Contains Simethicone

ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:
Each 5ml contains:
Magnesium hydroxide: 200mg
Dried aluminium hydroxide gel: 230mg (equivalent to aluminium hydroxide 175mg)
Simethicone: 25mg
Domiphen bromide: 0.42mg (as preservative)

DOSAGE:
2 to 4 teaspoonfuls, 4 times a day, taken 20 minutes to 1 hour after meals and at bed time, or as directed by a physician.
» Do not take more than 16 teaspoonfuls in 24-hour period

PRECAUTIONS:
» Not suitable for the treatment of children age of 15 years and below
» Do not use the maximum dosage for more than 2 weeks
» Seek medical advice if the following occur eg, weight loss; difficulty swallowing or persistent abdominal discomfort; digestive disorders occurring for the 1st time or recent changes in existing disorders
» Renal (Kidney) insufficiency
» Consult your pharmacist or doctor if you are taking other medicines

USE IN PREGNANCY & LACTATION:
» There are no reliable data on teratogenic effects in animals. To date, no particular teratogenic effects have been observed in humans
» Should only be used during pregnancy if necessary
» Breastfeeding may be continued during treatment
