What Carbosol is used for
For the treatment of long or short term problems with the breathing passages,
when excessive mucus is present or the mucus is too sticky.

How Carbosol works
Carbocysteine, a mucoregulator, reduces viscosity of mucus as well as protects the breathing passages against infection and irritation.

- not to be used in children below two (2)
years of age.
Pregnancy and lactation
Safety for use in pregnancy has not been established.

How to use Carbosol

Adults: oral 750mg reduced to 375mg three times daily when a response is obtained.

Children 2 – 5 years: oral, ½ - 1 teaspoonful four times daily.

Children 6 – 12 years: oral, 2 teaspoonfuls three times daily.
