CANESTEN CLOTRIMAZOLE 1% W/W CREAM 20G / CANESTEN V CREAM 10G

INGREDIENTS:
Clotrimazole 1% w/w
Inactive ingredients: Sorbitan Monostearate, Polysorbate 60, Cetyl Palmitate, Cetostearyl Alcohol 10%, Octyldodecanol 13.5%, Benzyl Alcohol 2% (as Preservative) & Purified Water

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION:
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY
» Wash & dry thoroughly the affected area before applying the cream.
» Apply thinly and evenly to the affected areas two or three times daily and rub in gently.
» A strip of cream (½cm long) is enough to treat an area of about the size of the hand.

TREATMENT DURATION:
Unless otherwise directed by your physicians:

CANESTEN V CREAM:
» External Thrush Symptoms: 1-2 weeks

PRECAUTIONS:
» Do not use Canesten cream if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients
» If you are pregnant, breast-feeding or trying for a baby, tell your doctor before using and follow his/ her instructions carefully
» As a precautionary measure, it is preferable to avoid the use of Clotrimazole during the first trimester of pregnancy
» Breast-feeding should be discontinued during treatment with Clotrimazole
» Consult your doctor if there is no improvement after 4 weeks of treatment

ADVERSE REACTIONS:
» Allergic reactions (such as rash, swallowing or breathing problems, swelling of lips, face, throat or tongue, weakness, feeling dizzy or faint, nausea, discomfort or pain) might occur soon after using the cream if patient is allergic to Clotrimazole or any of the other ingredients
» After you apply the cream you might experience itching, rash, blisters, burning, discomfort, swelling, irritation or peeling of skin
