DESCRIPTION:
Bepanthen Ointment is an easy to apply and breathable barrier cream for babies. It works in two ways, to care for baby’s skin and protect it from the causes of nappy rash.
Young babies, especially during the first months, have very vulnerable and sensitive skin.
Bepanthen has created a tailored formulation that can help to protect the vulnerable skin of young babies from irritants and other causes of nappy rash.


FEATURES:
1. Bepanthen Ointment, an oil-rich ointment base formulation, is a suitable solution for diaper rash as an ointment base formulation offers better protection against nappy (diaper) wetness.
2. Bepanthen Ointment contain the active ingredient dexpanthenol.
Dexpanthenol is converted in skin cells to pantothenic acid.
Pantothenic acid or vitamin B5 is known for its skin healing and repairing properties, and as such plays a part in both the formation and the regeneration of skin.
3. Hence Bepanthen Ointment has a dual action benefit helping you to protect and promote the natural healing of your baby's delicate skin, against nappy rash.


WHAT DOES IT CONTAINS:
Each gram contains 50mg of dexpanthenol. NO ADDED COLOURANT, FRAGRANCE & PRESERVATIVE.


HOW SHOULD IT TO BE USED:
1. Infant care: At each nappy (diaper) changes, spread over your baby's bottom and groin, after cleaning these areas
thoroughly with water.
2. Nursing mothers: Apply to the nipples after each breast feeding. It is recommended to clean the breast before each
breastfeeding.
3. Damaged skin: Apply one or more times daily, as need.
4. Bepanthen Ointment may be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.


PRECAUTION:
1. It is important that you follow the dosage instructions contained in the leaflet. Should you feel that this
product is too weak or too strong, consult your physician or pharmacist.
-2. Close tube tightly after use and store where it will be protected from heat and out of reach of children.
3. This medicine should not be used after the expiry date (EXP) shown on the pack.
