How does Dermatix® Advance work?
Innovative CX5 Technology:
• Flattens and softens scars
• Quick drying
• Leaves a soft silky feel on skin

Unique Vitamin C Ester (an active lipid form of Pro-Vitamin C):
• Lightens hyper-pigmentation
• Protects against UVA and UVB
• Non-irritating neutral PH
• Greater stability and penetration of the skin

Type of scars:
1. Elevated scars (hypertrophic and keloids not older than 2 years**) after the wound has healed and closed.
2. Burn scar
3. Abrasion scar
4. Facial scar
5. Scar from surgery (such as caesarean birth)
6. Scar from cuts/ fall/ insect bites

*Dermatix® Advance is NOT indicated for the treatment of depressed scars (such as those resulting from acne or Chickenpox).
**Dermatix® Advance works best on scars which are less than 2 years. It may also work on older scars, as long as there are signs of healing such as redness, itching, irritation or continuous growth of the scar.

How soon can I start using Dermatix® Advance?
Apply Dermatix® Advance when the wound has dried, once the wound scab has peeled off.

How do I apply Dermatix® Advance?
Step 1. Clean the affected area with mild soap and water. Pat dry.
Step 2. Apply a small pea size amount TWICE daily at the tip of the scar and gently spread thinly over the whole affected area. A small pea size amount is sufficient to cover a 6-inch scar.
Step 3. Allow to dry for about 1 - 2 minutes. Once dry, Dermatix® Advance may be covered with cosmetics or sunscreen.

How long should I use Dermatix® Advance?
• Initial improvement may be observed after 8-12 weeks of continued use of Dermatix® Advance.
• For major/ bigger scars, use Dermatix® Advance for 3-6 months or longer until you experience the full benefits of scar improvement.
• 15g tube – lasts for about 2 months
