ChlorXED 4%, Antiseptic hand wash with 4% of Chlorhexidine in 5L size

Active Ingredients: Chlorhexidine gluconate 4% (w/v), Zinc pyrithione

Appearance: Red liquid
Fragrance: Mint Pine
pH: 7

Direction for Use: for best results DO NOT DILUTE. To be used FULL STRENGTH

Indication:
1. As surgical hand scrub
- Remove all jewelry on hands and wrist.
- Wet hands and forearms with water then apply 5ml of ChlorXED 4% Antiseptic Solution.
- Scrub hands and forearms for 3 minutes paying attention to nails, cuticles and interdigital spaces.
- Rinse with water and then apply 5ml ChlorXED 4% Antiseptic Solution.
- Wash for another 3 minutes and dry thoroughly

2. As healthcare personnel handwash
- Wet hands and forearms and apply 3-5 ml ChlorXED 4% Antiseptic Solution
- Scrub for 1 minute and then rinse and dry thoroughly

3. For general skin cleansing
- Thoroughly rinse area to be cleansed with water
- Apply the minimum amount of ChlorXED 4% Antiseptic Solution necessary to cover the skin
- Wash gently and rinse thoroughly with water.

Description:
ChlorXED 4% AntiSeptic Solution is no meant for routine cleansing of skin or wounds which involves more than superficial layers. ChlorXED 4% AntiSeptic Solution is also not to be used for repeated general skin cleansing of large body areas except in those patients whose underlying condition required reduction in the bacterial population of the skin.

Warnings:
1. Avoid contact with mucuous membrane like eyes, ears and mouth
2. Do not use as preoperative skin preparation for the face and head.
3. Should contact be made with areas, quickly rinse out with water.
4. ChlorXED 4% Antiseptic Solution contains chlorhexidine, inform your healthcare professional if you have a known allergy to chlorhexidine.
5. This preparation contains 4% (w/v) isoproppyl alcohol
6. Store below 30C and away from direct sunlight
