IPL Hair removal removes hair growth from the roots by targeting hair follicles at the growth stage.
Start seeing results in as early as the 4th session and significant results after the 8th session.
Each session should be done every 2 weeks for at least 8 times. Thereafter, treatment is only required once a month to maintain results.
Very economical, 1 device can last a lifetime with 300,000 flashes.
1 device is cheaper than the price of 1 IPL treatment in the salon.
The device will not be as strong as those in the salon but it is just as effective with consistent use.

How does it feel:
The sensation is like being flicked with a rubber band.

How to use:
1. Press the button at the back once to turn on the device. You will see the blue light on the indicator lights up first, followed by the pink light. Once the pink light appears, it means the device is ready to be used.
2. Put the part where the lamp is, flat on the surface of your skin at 90% angle. Press the big button below the indicator to flash.
3. The intensity always starts at 1 by default. To change the intensity, press the button at the back (The same button you pressed to turn on the device). The blue light will increase by 1 square by every increase.
4. There is a safety feature where the IPL will not flash if the device is not placed properly on the skin, to avoid accidentally flashing at your eyes. However, we recommend using the safety glasses provided for added security.

NOTE: Shave first before commencing treatment. This is to allow the intended pulse light to reach the hair follicles.

Recommendation for optimum results:
We recommend using this at intensity 4 or 5. Start with intensity 1 and slowly move up to higher intensity so that you get adjusted to the sensation.
Consistency is very important. You cannot miss a treatment as this will give time for the hair follicles to recover and grow back again.
Do the treatment once every 2 weeks, for 8 times (4 months). Thereafter, do this once a month.

Suitability:
IPL is suitable for all except for white hair, red hair and darker skin tones as seen in the picture. Please chat with us for more details on suitability.
If you have had some results at the professional salon in the past, then this is likely to be suitable for you.
This device is especially suitable if you have had IPL treatment at the salon before but would like to maintain results without going to the salon.

Will I be hair-free forever after 8 sessions?
No. No treatment in the world can promise you that, as your hair follicles will eventually recover if you do not continue with the treatments (once a month thereafter after 8 sessions). However, you can be hair-free for several months which is great news too! No shaving/waxing for months!

Results vary individually. However if you had always wanted to try IPL but do not want to splurge at the salon, this is an excellent choice.
