MUJI acacia tableware is made in the Philippines. Acacia is a material that has an interesting look with a light and dark wooden pattern, from dark brown at the center to white at the periphery. It is a material with excellent workability and resistant to impact, bending and also resistant to decay. The fast-growing "early tree" is also suitable for the environment, and when it grows, it will be over 50 cm in diameter and the large parts can be removed. It takes a lot of skill to cut it out but the local craftsmen handmade it and it is a highly durable tableware.

It has a beautiful grain that is unique to acacia wood and re-shape to be friendly use.
