1. Why does my HD1400 cut off suddenly?
When the heater is overheat, it will auto cut-off.

2. What is the function of cool shot button?
If your hair is only damp instead of wet, it is important to use the low heat or cool shot setting to prevent over-drying. Also, the cool setting is to style wet hair into a streamlined look. We recommend users to always finish drying the hair with a cool shot of air.

3. Can we detach the nozzle?
Yes, you may but not recommended to take out and put it back too often. 

4. How to use the cool shot button? 
First, if you would like to use for longer time, you may press it down and use. Second, if you intend to use it for short period of time, you can just hold on to the button and use it then once released it will go back to the hot air.

5. Does this have heat protection?
This model will auto cut off after 5 minutes or any longer than that, if the hair dryer is overheated.
