The fraudulent use of PGMall Sdn Bhd’s name, corporate logo and name and senior officers’ name and positions by fraudulent in illegal schemes or other fraudulent activities are intended to deceive the public.

These illegal schemes or fraudulent activities may be promoted through emails, letters, phone calls, short message service (SMS), fake application or in other forms of communication.

Job Scams


How it happens?


You will receive job offer through communication apps or social media.

-Typically via WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram ad or private message.

-To offer usually comes with a daily reward of RM100-RM300 by completing simple tasks.


At the begging of the job, you will receive a small amount of reward.

-This is a tactic to lure the victims and shape a false sense of security that “No way the scammer will give me money”

-The “reward” will be paid to the victim in batches to make the whole situation looks promising and convincing.


You will be added to a group chat.

-That consist of several other “workers” as well (but they’re allies of the scammer)

-This is to ensure that the offer is legitimate and to give the impression that other people are doing as well.


Fake PGMall Apps

Scammer send victim a link that direct to the fake apps to download. Scammer will ask victim to deposit some money on the fake apps before begin the task.
