The Taboo game is the game of unspeakable fun! Who can get their teammates to say 'Brain Freeze' without being able to say Ice Cream, Headache, Eating, Cold or Fast? Not so easy now, is it? Or, can you get your team to say the word "snore" without using the words sleep, night, noise, or nose in your description? When playing the Taboo game, the obvious clues are strictly forbidden. Players race against the timer as they try to give creative and carefully-worded clues to get team players to guess words fast. But don't mention unmentionables, or it's time for the squeaker, which means losing the point. Players can also play using the Game-changer die to mix things up. If it lands on One Guesser, only one teammate can guess on their turn. With 4 other possibilities on the die, players better be shrewd, quick-thinking, and willing to take some risks - but don't get shut down by the squeaker!

Even if you have played the popular Taboo game before, this fun fast-paced game has been updated with 100-plus phrases not seen before in previous versions. The content includes topics that are relevant to today's pop culture and hottest trends.

“This is our family's favorite game - kids and grandparents included. We have an 11 year old so we don't play by all the rules (we don't use the dice) but use everything else including the timer. He loves this game and most of all has improved immensely in the past year that we are now going to try playing with all the rules. The game requires at least 2 teams of two players. One player will be given a card and will have to explain the word 'Horse' for example to their teammate without using a list of Taboo words such as animal, mane, hay etc. No actions or noises allowed. It forces you to get creative with your words and explanations. Highly recommend!”
