WoodKare DIY Gelled Stain W9xxx Series 1 (350g) Wood Kare "GELLED" Wiping Wood Stain The #1 Wood Stain to use - Feel free to chat with us for more colours (45 Colours Available) - Dries in just 2 hours - No drips, runs, spills or mess - No stirring and mixing required - Easy to achieve a professional finish without a skilled controller - Does not raise wood grain & any lap marks - Works easily to revive old furniture and to refurnish timber - Fade resistance, no peel or blister - Also excellent for fibreglass, or any surface with an embossed wood grain texture i.e (mansonite/fibreglass door) Application - Surface should be free from finished wax or contaminants. - To smooth wood surface using 280 or 320 grit sandpaper. - Always sand according to the direction of the grain, this will not damage the grain. Give a matte sheen finish. - Just rub DIY Gelled Stain by using lint-free cloth or sponge spreading as far as possible to fill the wood pores evenly (To add mineral spirit or turpentine liquid to dilute the stain if it is too thick) - Only one coat is required. - Wipe off the excess stain immediately with a clean lint-free cloth in the direction of the grain. - Wipe until smooth, evenly distributed, colour achieved then no more sanding is required. - Wait at least 1 hour to dry. - To make the surface smooth and glossy, apply 2 coats of Crystal Clear Lacquer sealer and 2 coats Top Coat (Gloss or Matte Finishes) or Otter H2O based Polyurethane finish. Benefits/Features - Easy apply, rub, wipe clean with a lint-free cloth (T-shirt). No skilled labour required). - No grain raising, no dripping. -No wiping marks or lap marks. - No stirring - colour very consistent from top to bottom. - Topcoat in an hour, set to touch in 20 minutes. - Fade resistance, never peel or blister. - Economical to use - 3 times coverage than shellac or varnish. - Ideal for wood, fibreglass, metal and composite doors, Use on furniture, cabinets, moulding, veneer and wall panelling.
