Shimaya Katuo dashi is the perfect base flavour for all of your Japanese cooking. This 50g pack of dashi powder contains 10bags. It is rich in umami flavours, the essential in most traditional Japanese foods.  Use this dashi when making miso soups, noodle soups, oden hot pots, and more.  


Hondashi, also translated as ‘real broth’ in english. It is made out of dried bonito fish, seaweed essence and additional flavors. Perfect the base flavour in all of your Japanese cooking with Shimaya's bonito dashi stock. Recommended to use this dashi when making miso soups, noodle soups, oden hot pots, and more.

[Miso Soup: 8-10 servings]

-20g of dashi; 8-10 cups of water, miso and salt as additional ingredients.

[Chige: 4 servings]

-20g of dashi; 5 cups of water, soy sauce and red pepper as additional ingredients.

[Hot Noodle: 3 servings]
