Biochemical decoction is a hemostatic agent, which has the effects of nourishing blood and removing blood stasis, warming and analgesic. Indications of blood deficiency and cold coagulation, blood stasis block. Postpartum lochia does not work, lower abdomen is cold and painful. It is commonly used in the treatment of poor postnatal uterine regeneration, postpartum contraction pain, and placental remnants.

生化汤为理血剂，具有养血祛瘀，温经止痛之功效。主治血虚寒凝，瘀血阻滞证。产后恶露不行，小腹冷痛。临床常用于治疗产后子宫复旧不良、产后宫缩疼痛、胎盘残留等属产后血虚寒凝，瘀血内阻者。

=Suitable for people/适宜人群=

After giving birth, the uterine muscles begin to contract, which can compress the blood vessels, and the bleeding caused during delivery will slowly stop. However, if the uterine contraction is not good, the continuous opening of blood vessels can easily cause bleeding and more than clots. During the postpartum period, the endometrium damaged by childbirth needs to be rebuilt. The process of postpartum uterine recovery begins 2 to 3 days after delivery. Except for the placenta implantation, the rest of the endometrium is mostly born within 7 to 10 days after delivery.

For the regeneration of the endometrium in the placenta implantation part, it is necessary to wait for the thrombus to exfoliate before the new endometrium can grow completely. Generally, the process of fast exfoliating thrombus takes about 2 weeks, sometimes even 6 weeks. The biochemical soup has the best effect during this time. Therefore, according to the progress of uterine recovery, the drinking time of biochemical soup begins about 2 to 3 days after delivery, and lasts about 7 to 10 days.

而胎盘着床部分的子宫内膜再生，则需要等到血栓块剥落，新的子宫内膜才能长得完整。一般血栓快剥落的过程约需2 个星期左右，有时甚至要6 周。而生化汤就在这段时间内起到最佳功效。所以，根据子宫恢复进度来看，生化汤的饮用时机大约在产后2～3天开始，大约持续7～10天。
