Japanese Cream Stew / White Stew is one of those meals that manages to hit the spot every time. Bite-size pieces of tender chicken, mushrooms, and colorful vegetables simmer together in a creamy white sauce before being ladled over steamed rice. It makes the meal appetizing and delicious!

Cooking Directions: 8 servings

1 Box HOUSE CREAM STEW SAUCE MIX, Chicken or Pork 300g, 2 Medium Onion 400g, 2 Medium Potatoes 300g, 1 medium Carrot 200g, Water 800ml, Milk 300ml, Oil or Butter 2 tbsp.

1. Cut chicken or pork, onions, potatoes and carrots into bite size pieces. Sauté in oil or butter in saucepan until lightly browned. 

2. Add 800ml of water and bring to a boil. Cook over low to medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until ingredients become soft. 

3. Turn off heat. Break cream stew sauce mix into pieces and add to saucepan. Cook over low heat for about 5 minutes, or until sauce thickens.

4. Add 300ml of milk and cook over low heat for about 5 minutes.
