🦐 HOKKIEN PRAWN NODDLE 🦐 also known as Hokkien Har Mee. One of the famous hawker food at Penang. It is a dish serve with yellow mee and rice vermicelli, water spinach (kangkong) and bean sprouts in a fragrant soup which is mainly made from prawn, chilli etc. It is garnished with hard-boiled egg, prawns and crisp deep-fried shallots.

Starting from the broth, it takes a long time to prepare the Penang Hokkien Mee. From clean prawn shells and heads and drain. Scald pork / chicken ribs and wash away all frosty foams. Fry the shrimp heads and shells until crispy and add it to the broth and cook at least 90mins.

Our LITTLE NYONYA Penang Hokkien Prawn Noodle Paste enables you to prepare authentic taste of Penang Hokkien Mee in short time. It just takes you 3 steps to prepare the prawn-based soup – Add in the paste, add in some prawn and water. That’s it! There are 3-4 servings per packet. NO added Preservative, NO added artificial colouring & flavouring!


📝 COOKING INSTRUCTIONS 📝
Add 2 litres (8 cups) water and 650g chicken to Hokkien Prawn Noodle Paste and cook on med flame for 30 mins. Remove chicken. Serve with prawn meat, chicken, water spinach (kangkong), bean shoot, yellow egg noodle (Hokkien noodle), rice vermicelli and garnish with fried shallots.
