NAC3FCA PowerCON Power In Type A Cable Mount Connector Cable connector, A-type for power-in, screw terminals. The powerCON is a locking 3 conductor equipment AC connector with contacts for line, neutral and pre-mating ground contact. It replaces appliance couplers wherever a very rugged solution in combination with a locking device is needed in order to guarantee a safe power connection.
Attention: The powerCON is a connector without breaking capacity, i.e. the powerCON should not be connected or disconnected under load or live! Type A plug and socket is for power IN to a device NAC3MPA-1.

Powercon offers 20 amp rating in a secure-locking, compact housing, and meets all current safety standards. The series offers a 3-pole connection, with pre-mating earth connection and compact design (the series shares many body components with the Speakon' twist-lock loudspeaker connector, though naturally is totally incompatible!). The secure strain-relief chuck cable strain relief accepts cables 5-15mm diameter, and the locking is by the twistlock principle with metal latch (as on current Speakon' connectors).
