The Weber IDF dual-throat downdraft carburetor is an excellent choice for many racing applications ranging from small Italian sports cars to modified VW-based engines. A single 40IDF is a great choice for a mildly built 1500-2000cc engine. Twin 40IDFs can feed 1500-2200cc engines.
