Shell Helix HX8 X 5W-30 can be used for gasoline engines, diesel engines (without particulate filters) and gas engines, and it is also suitable for use with biodiesel and gasoline / ethanol blends.
It is suitable for direct injection turbocharged gasoline engine where protection against low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) is required.
