- Origin: Spain

- Size: Up to 2.5cm

- Humidity: 50% - 65%

- Care level: Easy

Basic Isopod Care:

1. Substrate

- cocopeat + sphagnum (or anything that can retain moisture well)

- substrate must always be damp, as isopod rely on moisture to breathe.

2. Ventilation

- Good ventilation is important, it is good to have as much as possible but not to the extend that it dries your substrate up.

3. Diet

- Vegetables

- Fruit (feed in moderation or as treats, because high quantity can easily cause mold)

- Gutload powder

- Dead insect

- Fish, chicken etc.

- Animal pellet such as cat food, turtle food etc.

- Dried leaves

4. Supplement

- Cuttlefish bone or calcium powder

5. Others

- Dried leaves (Isopod will use dried leaves as hide and can also eat them)

- Cork bark (act as hide or "house" for isopod)
