Scientific name：Alternanthera sessilis
Englsih name：Sessile joyweed，dwarf copperleaf，red carpet weed. 
Malay Name：Keremak Merah.
Family & Genus：Amaranthaceae，Alternanthera.
Properties：Bland taste. Cooling.
Benefits：Clear heat & remove toxin，cool blood & stop bleeding，resolve food accumulation & remove blood stasis.

·Metrorrhagia
·Hematemesis 
·Hematochezia
·Internal bleeding
·Red and white dysentery*
·Lung heat & hemoptysis（cough up blood）
·Cardiovascular obstruction（blockage of a blood vessel）

*Red and white dysentery is relatively deeper and more serious than dysentery. It is caused by summerheat and damp heat fermenting within the intestines. The intestines wall putrefies and decays. Pus and blood are precipitated and this results in red and white dysentery.

Preparation：
·1 sachets tea bag each time. One or twice daily. 
·Steep a tea bag in 200ml boiled water for 10 minutes. 
·Each tea bag may rebrewed 2-3 times，or until light taste.

功能：清热解毒，凉血止血，消积祛瘀。

·肺热咳血
·内伤出血
·红白痢疾
·心血管阻塞

用法：
·每次一包茶袋，每日1包～2包。
·将茶袋浸泡于200毫升沸水，10分钟后即可饮用。
·每个茶袋可重复冲泡2-3次，或直至淡味为止。
