Peach gum has multiple health benefits such as lowering fat, improving blood pressure, reducing high blood fat, and decreasing blood sugar. Also, peach gum is rich in antioxidants and has been known for improving eyesight and relieving stress.


== HOW TO PREPARE/ COOK PEACH RESIN?

There are many recipes found ever since the peach resin become more & more popular. We will share the simplest preparation method & recipe. If you would like to experiment with other recipes, you may find many recipes on the internet too.


❤ PREPARATION ❤

1.  Soak the peach resin in clean, filtered water overnight (8-10 hours). It will absorb the water & expand ~10 times or more. Expanded peach resin looks like clear brown jelly.

2.  The impurities will sink at the bottom & easily wash off when you release the excess water. Wash it once or twice with running water & use fingers to remove impurities which are still stuck to the resin jelly to ensure that the peach resin jelly is clean & ready to cook.

3.  Discard the water.

4.  Now you have the peach resin jelly ready for cooking!


❤ INFUSE: OVERNIGHT (no cooking) ❤

1.  Steep red dates, goji berries & peach resin jelly in hot water using thermal flask. Steep overnight. The longer they’re steeped the more flavorful. 


❤ SLOW COOKER: 30-60MINS ❤

1.  In a slow cooker, add water, peach resin jelly, red dates, goji berries, dried longan, rock sugar.

2.  Bring to boil & cook for 30mins. Then keep warm.


== !! IMPORTANT !! ==

♦️ Avoid cooking too hot for too long or the peach resin jelly will fully dissolve in the soup! Control the cooking temperature & cooking time carefully when the soup is cooking.

♦️ Avoid during menstrual period & pregnancy.
