Headstands (sirsasanas) are not only fun, but also revitalizing to the entire body, as well as stimulating to the mind. Integrating headstands to your practice promotes healthy blood flow through the brain cells. This rejuvenating action is beneficial to your thinking power and allow thoughts to become clearer.

Experience impressive teaching skills from Wirni. She will gradually guide you through the fundamentals of the different muscles and alignment points that are helpful in accessing this pose, as well as the skills needed to build strength and stability in this shape. We will start by honoring the importance of establishing a steady foundation, pausing intermittently throughout the workshop so participants can experience with their own body. Explore the key techniques and helpful tips to gain confidence in going upside down!

Whether you’re new to headstand, or more experienced and looking for some challenging variations, this workshop will provide you with helpful tips and tricks to get you flying! You will leave the workshop feeling more confident in integrating this pose into your daily practice! Come find out why Sirshasana is called the King of asanas!
