Swarovski Cubic Zirconia (CZ) is known for its hardness (8.5 on the Mohs scale, comparable to sapphire and ruby), heat resistant and for refracting light just like a diamond. This is why Swarovski Cubic Zirconia is the most popular diamond imitation. Swaroski Crystal, on the other hand, is softer (6-7 on the Mohs scale) and is less refractive.
