What is Konjac?

Konjac is an ancient plant grown and consumed in Asian countries for centuries. It also known as Konjaku | Konnyaku Potato | Devil's Tongue |

Voodoo Lily | Snake Palm | Elephant YamIn Indonesia, it is commonly known as Porang tree. It is a plant with a starchy root or corm which is made into flour and it makes to low calories konjac food.


The varieties:

Konjac Rice: It is a normal form of rice

Konjac Rice Cake: Thick type sliced into thin oval shapes for Tteokbokki or Rice Cake Soup
