Product Q & A: 

1. What is the difference between the mechanisms of action of New Micro Technology Slow Release Aerosol (AE) vs. Conventional Mosquito Repellents (CMR)? 


In AE, the anti-mosquito active agent sprayed will evaporate and spread around the room killing mosquitoes. In CMR, the anti-mosquito agent is unable to evaporate properly and it will settle once it falls to the ground quickly. As the CMR can only kill mosquito as long as it's active agent is in the air space of the room, therefore it requires a great amount of dosage and gas pressure. 


2. What is the difference between the active ingredient of AE and that of conventional CMR?


The anti-mosquito agent of AE (Metofluthrin) and CMR (prallethrin & permethrin) are classified as synthetic pyrethroids, inspired from natural insecticides contained in the chrysanthemum flowers. However, the active agent metofl much higher vapor pressure so that it evaporates more easily in the air and does not leave any residue. 


3. Why is the volume of AE only 83 ml, whereas other aerosol repellents may reach 600 ml?


With 83 ml, AE may be used up to 850 pushes of usage. Everyday 4 pushes can lasts for 200 days, This is because its active agent can evaporate automatically, so that it's active agent may optimally spread out in the air without falling to the ground, therefore no large volume is necessary.
