Scientific Name：Phyla nodiflora (L.) Greene / Lippia nodiflora.

English Name：Purple lippia，knotted flower phyla，frog fruit，sawtooth fogfruit，turkey tangle.

Malay Name：Pokok gout

Family & Genus：Verbenaceae，Phyla.

Properties：Acrid，bitter taste. Cold in nature.

Benefits：Clear heat & remove toxin，relieve swelling & analgesic.

Indications：

·Enteritis

·Dysentery

·Hematuria

·Gonorrhea

·Sore throat

·Diabetic foot

·Acute tonsillitis

·Irregular periods

·Ulcerative gingivitis

·Cough & hemoptysis

·Pain due to tooth decay

*Folk use for diabetes & hypertension，external use for skin diseases etc.


Preparation：

·1 sachets tea bag each time. One or twice daily. 

·Steep a tea bag in 200ml boiled water for 10 minutes. 

·Each tea bag may rebrewed 2-3 times，or until light taste.

功能：清热解毒，消肿止痛。

·月经不调

·咳嗽咯血

·蛀牙疼痛

·咽喉肿痛

·糖尿病烂脚

·急性扁桃体炎

·暑湿症（猪毛丹） 

*民间用于妇科，糖尿病及血压高，外用皮肤病等症。


用法：

·每次一包茶袋，每日1包～2包。

·将茶袋浸泡于200毫升沸水，10分钟后即可饮用。

·每个茶袋可重复冲泡2-3次，或直至淡味为止。
