Potato Flakes


Applicable for mashed potatoes, bakery products, snacks, soup and sauces, etc.


Mashed Potato

Ingredients

1 1/3 cups Potato Flakes

1 1/2 cups Water

2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

1/2 tsp Salt

1/2 cup cold Fresh Milk


A. Instructions (cooking on stove)

1. Heat water to boil, then add butter and salt.

2. Remove from heat and add cold fresh milk.

3. Add potato flakes and stir gently. Fluff with a fork; do not whip.

4. Let sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken before serving.


B. Instructions (Microwave)

1. Mix water, butter, salt and milk in a large microwave-safe bowl or dish.

2. Microwave on high heat / setting until hot, about 3 minutes.

3. Remove from microwave and add potato flakes. Stir gently and fluff with a fork; do not whip.

4. Let sit for 2-3 minutes to thicken before serving.


** you could add more milk if you prefer creamier mashed potatoes.
