The DGA700Z is a Cordless brushless Angle Grinder, powered by two Li-ion batteries to deliver up to 7,800 rpm for faster grinding. The brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the motor to run cooler and more efficiently for a longer life and uses energy to match torque and rpm to the changing demands of the application.

The Angle Grinder has a large trigger switch for easy operation, spiral bevel gears for smoother rotations and more efficient transfer of energy and spindle lock for easy wheel changes. The side grip can be instaled on either side of the tool and features a lock off safety lever to prevent accidental start up. The DGA700PT2 has electronic current limiter for protection against overload, anti-restart function to prevent the motor starting up when the battery is inserted with the switch locked on and battery indicator for protection against discharge and overheating.

BL1850 18v Li-ion 5.0Ah Battery

The BL1850 5.0 Ah Li-ion battery works with current Li-ion chargers and has a 45 minute charge time on DC18RC and DC18RD chargers and 110 minutes on DC18SD charger (chargers not included). It is lightweight, weighing no more than a 3.0 Ah Li-ion battery, has a longer run time and battery life. Anytime charge, no memory effect and no discharging required.

Multi contact terminals reduce electrical resistance and increase connection stability withstanding against vibration and ultimately ensures stable current supply to the tool.

Lightweight and shock-absorbing. The Li-ion range delivers 430 per cent more working capacity during its lifetime compared to Ni-Cad and is 40 per cent lighter than Ni-Mh. The Li-ion has minimal depletion of power during use or in storage over its lifetime.

DC18RD Twin Port Charger

The DC18RD is a 14.4V to 18V two port fast charger that is able to charge two Makita slide style Li-ion batteries at the same time. It can also charge Ni-MH batteries with an adaptor (not included).

The charger can also be used for charging a USB device from the USB port on the front of the unit. The USB port provides 1.5A output for charging smart phones, tables, etc.

It will charge 2 x 18V 3.0 Ah batteries in 22 minutes, 2 x 18V 4.0 Ah batteries in 36 minutes and 2 x 5.0 Ah batteries in 45 minutes.

It features a full charge sound alert, LED charging display, forced cooling system and electronic current limiter for overload protection.
