Red yeast rice has been used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine. It contains a compound known as monacolin K, which is the same ingredient as lovastatin (a cholesterol lowering medication), making it an effective supplement to reduce elevated Low-Density-Lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol and Triglyceride levels. 


Each 500mg capsule contains:
Semen Red Yeast Rice ( Monascus purpureus) 500mg

Dosage:
Adult take 1 capsule daily after meals. Do not take continuously for more than 3 months. Supplement with CoQ10 for optimal health.

Warning:
  • This product contains naturally occurring lovastation. Please consult your doctor/ pharmacist before using this product.
  • Do not take this product if you are already on statin medication (lovastatin, atorvastatin, fluvastation, pravastatin, simvastatin, rosuvastatin, etc)
  • If you experience any allergic reaction or side effects such as lethargy, body and muscle aches, please stop using this product.
  • Concurrent use of fibrates may cause severe myositis and myoglobinuria.
  • Do not take if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding.
