Scientific Name：Panax quinquefolium L.

English Name：American ginseng

Family & Genus：Araliaceae，Panax.

Pharmacology：Benefic to central nervous & cardiovascular system，antistress-ability increase，immunity-enhance.

Properties：Sweet，slightly bitter taste. Cooling. 

Benefits：Tonify qi & nourish yin，clear heat & produce body fluid.

Indications：

·Blood loss

·Internal heat

·Dry mouth & throat

·Lung deficiency & chronic cough 

·Calming mind & promote mentality

·Cough type asthma with bloody sputum

·Irritability & fatigue due to deficiency heat  

·Consumptive thirst（frequently associated with diabetes）

·Qi（vital energy）deficiency & yin（body fluids）exhaustion

*Noted：Unsuitable for use with trefle gros. Those with deficiency-cold of spleen & stomach（weak digestive system），cold-dampness obstruction & accumulation of damp-heat in the body are refrained from consumption.


Preparation：

·1 sachets tea bag each time. One or twice daily. 

·Steep a tea bag in 200ml boiled water for 10 minutes. 

·Each tea bag may rebrewed 2-3 times，or until light taste.

·气虚阴亏

·咳喘痰血

·肺虚久嗽

·虚热烦倦

·口燥咽干

·宁神益智

*注：不宜与藜芦同用。脾阳虚、寒湿中阻及湿热内蕴者禁服。


用法：

·每次一包茶袋，每日1包～2包。

·将茶袋浸泡于200毫升沸水，10分钟后即可饮用。

·每个茶袋可重复冲泡2-3次，或直至淡味为止。
