Virgin coconut oil (VCO) is absolutely safe and healthy oil derived from fresh coconuts.VCO is extracted with utmost care to ensure that the kernels and the raw material are not subjected to heat and sunlight.This preserves all the natural goodness of this oil, including a high content of vitamin-E and minerals, which are otherwise almost completely robbed from ordinary coconut oil that involved heating, and refining processes.

The melting point of VCO is around 23-25 degrees Celcius; it will melt into a transparent liquid in temperatures that are higher than that and harden into a white solid in temperatures that are lower.
